Marbling Workshop at Rick Rack March 24
Unleash your creativity with Cate Kuzik of Ochre Lea as she guides you through the art of fabric marbling. Transform your textiles with ease using traditional techniques learned in this interactive workshop!
In this workshop, you’ll explore Ebru, the ancient Turkish art of marbling, learning the preparation and equipment required, some of the traditional marbling patterns, and how to create them, while discussing the various inks and paints used for each.
What you'll make:
Samples of various marbled patterns on different fabric types. All materials and tools are provided, plus participants will get instructional PDFs on how to marble at home.
This workshop is open to everyone from complete beginners to those with marbling experience who want to expand on their skills.
When: Sunday, March 10th, 10:00 am-4:30 pm (with a half-hour lunch break)
